A Newport shopping centre manager has got on his bike in aid of charity.
Simon Pullen, who is in charge of the day-to-day management of Friars Walk following its sale by Queensberry to Canadian firm Talisker, has ridden from London to Paris in aid of the British heart Foundation.
Simon, who works for Cresco Globe after previously being employed by Queensberry, has raised almost £1,700 for his chosen charity.
He said: “ The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It’s only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £25 could pay for an hour of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.”
