Newport-based Henry Howard Finance has been crowned Top Multi Line Funder at an asset finance awards ceremony.

The Leasing World Awards were held at the London Hilton Bankside and attended by more than 300 asset finance professionals, keen to recognise and celebrate the successes of leading industry firms.

Winners of the awards were determined by an independent panel of judges, with a deliberate focus on both qualitative and quantitative criteria.

As one of the UK’s leading independent finance houses, the Langstone-based firm demonstrated a notable track record of financial product expansion, impressive funder capabilities and solid brokerage relationships across a range of fintech platforms.

Mark Crook, group chief executive officer of HHF, said: “As a business, we strive hard to ensure that our range of alternative financial products are the best in the market, and to have our offering recognised by Leasing World is privilege.

“Meeting our customer’s evolving needs remains the core priority for HHF, and we are delighted that this award reflects our ability to fund all types of bespoke financial products for companies across the UK, while also supporting new industries, start-ups and entrepreneurs with their specific requirements.”

The success follows a triumphant 2017 that has seen Henry Howard Finance scoop a series of prestigious awards.

In May, Mark Burn, HHF’s chief financial officer was named Finance Director of the Year at the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards 2017.

In July, Mark Crook, co-founder and group chief executive officer was recognised for his contribution and ‘game changing’ approach by Finance Monthly, winning CEO of the Year: Financial Services.

Additionally, only last month, HHF fought off stiff competition from a range of asset-based and invoice financiers, angel investors and peer-to-peer platforms, to scoop the title of Alternative Finance Provider of the Year 2017 at Wales Business Insider’s Welsh Dealmakers Awards 2017.
