A retail park in Monmouth housing a supermarket and vets, has been sold for just over £2m.

Henry Boot Developments’ Bristol office has completed the sale of Monmouth District Centre in Rockfield Road to Mersenne Properties Ltd at a value of £2,162,000.

Located on Rockfield Road, Monmouth District Centre comprises four retail units totalling 8,150 sq ft. Occupiers include anchor tenant, The Co-operative, along with Vets 4 Pets and Queens Fish and Chips.

Situated on the periphery of the town centre, the retail park benefits from its location just off the A40, which in turn leads to the M50 and M4. The property is also in close proximity to a new Barrett housing development comprising 370 homes.

Craig Mathias, senior development surveyor at HBD, said: “We are pleased to announce the sale of the Monmouth District Centre to Mersenne Properties. The retail park provides high quality, modern units with ample parking and benefits from its convenient and easy-to-reach location in a popular suburban area. We are in no doubt that it will be a busy destination and that Co-op, Vets 4 Pets and Queens Fish and Chips will thrive in their new home.”

Calan Retail and Fletcher Morgan were joint letting agents.
