An aviation training company is set to move into a 4,033 sq ft unit in Newport.

The move comes after joint agents Savills and Knight Frank, on behalf of Imperial House Investments Limited, secured Phixos Limited as the newest tenant at Imperial Park, Newport.

Phixos Limited’s unmanned aviation training and services business RUAS, has agreed a new five year lease on 4,033 sq ft (274 sq m) at Unit 2 Imperial Courtyard.

The self-contained building has recently undergone a high quality refurbishment, providing open plan office space.

Furnishing RUAS with improved classrooms and administration facilities, the new office allows for the provision of a larger range of training courses alongside the management of the operations and services offered by the business.

The property is located off Junction 28 of the M4 close to the Celtic Springs Retail Quarter on the west side of Newport.

Gary Carver, director in the business space team at Savills Cardiff, said: “We are delighted to have secured RUAS at Imperial Courtyard on behalf of our clients. The park is home to a number of prominent occupiers, and RUAS will further enhance this tenant mix.”

Mark Sutton, partner at Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “Imperial Courtyard is an attractive proposition for occupiers – high specification office space with great access and plenty of car parking. The building was snapped up shortly after the works were completed, rewarding our clients for a high quality refurbishment.”

The landlord will now undertake a refurbishment of the 24,000 sq ft (2,229 sq m) Imperial House, that can accommodate occupiers from 12,000 sq ft (1,114 sq m), marketed through Savills and Knight Frank.
