The Dragons of Newport networking group will be hosting its second free ‘Big Breakfast’ networking event on June 5 at the Tiny Rebel Brewery in Rogerstone.

The previous quarterly event was attended by more than 100 local and national businesses and provided delegates with a fantastic opportunity to meet new contacts as well as reacquaint themselves with those they had previously worked with.

Dragons member Seamount Accountancy will be sponsoring June’s Big Breakfast.

Managing director Kath Hiscock said: “Having been involved with the Dragons over the past six months I have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and passion demonstrated by our fellow members to seek out opportunities for each other.

"We have previously attended numerous Big Breakfast events over the last couple of years and sponsoring the event in June will give us a fantastic opportunity to promote our services.”

The event will start at 7am and will include facilitated networking sessions as well as guest speakers Tim Perris and Alison Clarke from Imagine for Business, who will be inspiring the visitors during their ‘Running your own business or striving to succeed within one, can be tough’ presentation.

Tim and Alison will explain how the mistakes, failures and problems faced by business owners that they don’t have the answers to are not only part of your journey, but essential stepping stones to achieving your goals.

The charity chosen by the Dragons for this event with be Wastesavers.

Registration for the event is online via the Dragons website at www.dragonsofnewport.com/index.php/events/book-online.html.
