The polls are open and it is crunch time in the 2017 General Election
POLLING stations across Gwent are now open for people to cast their votes in the 2017 General Election.
This is one of those rare days when the people really do have the power, so don't waste your vote. Every one counts.
The weather forecast is a poor one today, with a high lielihood of rain across the area, but don't let that put you off.
The Argus will bring you full coverage through the night as the results come in from across the UK, and we will have reporters at the constituency counts in Newport West, Newport East, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Islwyn.
