A LOCAL man appeared before a judge at Newport Crown Court on firearms offences following an incident in Monmouth on August 4.
Roger Nugent, pleaded guilty to the incident which took place at Geoffrey Drive at 7.30 on that Monday evening.
The 31-year-old also pleaded guilty to assault and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an illegal weapon without a valid certificate.
Charges of dangerous driving were dropped when Nugent offered a not guilty plea.
Nugent was then remanded in custody to appear before the crown court on September 19.
