THE body of 38-year-old Mark David Williams with his motorbike has been discovered four days after a crash near Chepstow.
Gwent Police is appealing for information to the fatal road traffic collision, which occurred at approximately 9.45am on Saturday, October 4. Mr Williams' body was finally found by a local man in a remote field in Howick, along the B4235, on Wednesday.
Enquiries have established that the labourer was travelling from his home address in Yorkley, Gloucestershire via Chepstow to pick up building supplies then onto Shirenewton to a job.
Police are treating the death as an unexplained road traffic collision and enquiries are ongoing into the cause.
Anyone with information or who was in the area between 9.45am and 10.00am and may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111 or the Collision investigation Unit on 01633 643091.
