THREE people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a bus and a Peugeot car on the A40 the Raglan interchange this morning.
Fire crews from Usk, Monmouth and Malpas, were called to the scene at 7.35am.
The fire service spokeswoman confirmed that the driver of the car managed to release himself.
The driver along with the two other passengers of the car were then treated by paramedics and were taken to Nevill Hall hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening
Another bus was organised so the passengers could continue with their journey.
The people on the bus were uninjured.
Fire crews left the scene around 8.10am.
