POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Chepstow in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It’s believed the incident took place in the vicinity of the bus station in Chepstow between 1.30am and 3am.
A Gwent Police spokesman said: "Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have been in the area of the bus station or the Co-op store at that time.
"Potential witnesses may have seen a man, described as white and wearing a white shirt, walking with a young woman and may have noticed something unusual about their behaviour or conversation."
The 28-year-old female victim is being supported by specially trained officers at this time.
