GWENT Police are asking for help to find two 4x4 cars which were stolen in two separate burglaries from house driveways.
A Land Rover was stolen from the drive of a house in Castle Lea, Caldicot, sometime between October 24 to 30 after the keys were taken from inside the house.
Then during the night between Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5, a Range Rover Sport was stolen from the drive of a house on Caldicot Road.
Car keys had again been taken from inside the house.
The Land Rover is distinctive due to the round light on the front grills and the SARA badge in the passenger side window. Police are urging anyone with any information to please call 101, quoting log number 477 30/10/15.
Anyone with information about the Range Rover Sport is asked to call 101, quoting log number 52 5/11/15.
Gwent Police are also reminding residents to lock their doors, both front and back, even if they are in the house at the time.
Officers are also suggesting to keep their car keys well hidden and suggest taking them upstairs at night.
A spokeswoman said: "Just taking these two simple steps can help protect the public from this type of crime".
