MORE star names who will perform in Chepstow as part of the town’s annual music festival have been unveiled by organisers.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, The Proclaimers and The Blues Band will all visit the town to play at Chepstow Castle as part of Castell Roc.

Mr Holland has presented his Later…with Jools Holland show since 1992 and his annual Hootenanny takes BBC2 into the New Year. He was also a founding member of Squeeze.

He and his orchestra will visit Chepstow on Saturday, August 27.

Twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid, better known together as The Proclaimers, will be at the castle on Sunday, August 21. They are likely to perform some of their best known songs, which include I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Sunshine on Leith, I'm On My Way and Letter from America.

The Blues Band will also play in Chepstow on Friday, August 26.

Other performers will be revealed in due course – but it has already been confirmed the festival will run daily concerts from Thursday, August 18 until Monday, August 22, resuming on Thursday, August 25 before finally closing on Monday, August 29.

As previously announced Queen tribute band The Bohemians will play at the castle on Thursday, August 25. They previously played at Castell Roc in 2014 and 2015.

And The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will perform on Sunday, August 28.
