TRAFFIC is building on the M4 and throughout Gwent ahead of this afternoon's anticipated Six Nations clash between Wales and England in Cardiff.
Queues and stop-start traffic are being reported on the entire stretch of the M4 from Monmouth to Cardiff, as well as delays at the toll booths on the two Severn crossings.
Variable speed limits are in place on the section of the motorway passing Newport, but no problems have been reported on bus and train services so far this afternoon.
Road closures are also in place in the centre of Cardiff, so anyone planning to travel to the capital to watch the game is advised to either leave in good time, or take public transport. Crowd control is in place at Cardiff Central station.
Wales v England at the Principality Stadium kicks off at 4.50pm.
