THE boss of an accountancy firm has announced his upcoming retirement, following the merger of his company.
Neil Mounter, director of Monmouth-based Agincourt Practice Limited, will be retiring later this year after nearly 40 years of service with the firm.
The practice will remain in the town and become Broomfield & Alexander’s fourth office – after Swansea, Newport and Cardiff.
The deal will see the 10 members of staff join Broomfield & Alexander, bringing their total workforce to 115 across four offices.
Mr Mounter, who joined the firm in 1978, said: “I am delighted to announce that Agincourt will become a part of Broomfield & Alexander, which will see the same team provide the same high-quality service to both our existing and new clients, while also utilising the expertise of a leading Welsh firm.
“I will be working closely with our clients over the coming months to ensure that the transition is seamless, but I have every confidence that our team will flourish under the Broomfield & Alexander brand.”
