RESIDENTS and staff at a Caldicot care home have celebrated the 20th anniversary of its care provider, Hallmark Care Homes.

Directors Avnish Goyal and Ram Goyal had pledged to visit all 15 of their care homes across England Wales in just four days to recognise the milestone.

The purpose of their visit to Cherry Tree was to recognise the company’s long-serving employees for their contributions as well as take part in the care homes individual celebrations.

The party held last week was inspired by the 1940s, offering music from the era throughout the event along with with a vintage ice cream van and retro pick ‘n’ mix stall.

Gill Jones, manager at Cherry Tree said: “We are so happy that Avnish and Ram came to the home as part of their journey to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hallmark Care Homes.

“We have had a great afternoon celebrating with them both, and the residents and team were all really excited to mark this special occasion.”

“Everyone who attended had a really good time and we are all looking forward to our next anniversary.”
