THE M48 Severn Bridge will be closed on two separate occasions overnight this week for structural maintenance work to be undertaken.
From 8pm on Wednesday, June 21 until 6am on Thursday, June 22, the bridge will be closed on the westbound route.
There will also be a closure period in effect between 8pm on Saturday, June 24 and 6am on Sunday, June 25 – again on the westerly route of the bridge.
The eastbound section of the bridge will not be affected by either of the proposed working schedules.
Diversions will be in effect on during both overnight closures and will be clearly signposted for motorists.
