TRAVEL advice has been given to fans travelling to see Little Mix at Caldicot Castle tonight.
The Brynglas tunnel will be closed westbound from 8pm this evening. Diversions will be set up advising people to get off at Junction 24 (the Coldra) and directing them around the A48 to the south of Newport, rejoining the M4 at Junction 28 (Tredegar Park).
Extensive traffic management will be in place with event parking available at the David Broome Event Centre.
The residential cul-de-sacs at Castle Lea, Castle Lodge Crescent, Heol Teifi, Heol Towy and Taff Road will be closed off to everyone bar residents.
Security measures have been beefed up in light of recent terror incidents across the UK with an increased police presence in and around the country park surrounding the castle.
Concert-goers are being advised not to bring bags at all, with large bags not allowed, although small bags are permitted subject to a thorough search.
Items that will be not be allowed into the area include animals (with the exception of guide dogs), laser pens, food and drink, bottles, fireworks, cans, glass containers, any weapons including sharp objects, illegal substances, seating or camping furniture.
