THE Severn bridges will revert to public ownership on January 8 allowing it to scrap the tolls by the end of 2018, the UK government has confirmed.
Monmouth MP David Davies received the news in a letter from transporter minister Jesse Norman MP.
He confirmed that all tolls would end on the Severn crossings by December 31, 2018.
