FIREFIGHTERS were called to Abergavenny this morning after an air dehumidifier caused a fire at a terraced house.
Fire crews from Blaenavon and Abergavenny were called to a semi-detached house on Library Square at around 8.54am.
On arrival, firefighters found a 12m by 9m blaze which had begun after an air dehumidifier had caught fire in the dining room.
Nobody was in the house at the time and no injuries were reported.
Crews were there for around 90 minutes to extinguish the flames. The fire was deemed accidental.
