POLICE renewed their appeal for information to trace a patient yesterday – almost three months after he went missing from a hospital.
Perry Smith, 22, was a patient at Llanarth Court Hospital, Abergavenny.
He failed to return from unescorted leave in Abergavenny Town Centre on August 21.
He was last seen walking from Abergavenny Bus Station into the town centre at around 10.30am that day.
Members of the public are asked to call police if they see Perry as it is believed he may be a potential risk without his medication.
Perry is white with a shaved head.
He wore a green waterproof short mac, brown Krishna t-shirt, black linen trousers and black Vans trainers with white soles and was carrying a green camouflage rucksack at the time he disappeared.
Mr Smith is originally from the Devon and Cornwall area and it is believed he has links in that region and may be there.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call 101 quoting the log number 201 22/08/15.
