A speedboat capsized in the River Severn at Beachley, near Chepstow, last night.
A rescue crew from the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) was called to Beachley slipway at around 10pm.
Rescuers worked to right the 14 foot speedboat and bail out the water before refloating it and recovering it onto its trailer.
All people on board were safe and had made it to dry ground. They were wearing lifejackets.
Haydn Lyall, of SARA, said: The people were trying to recover the boat after being out on it and the wind picked up and swamped the boat and it filled with water.
"They were both dry and on the slip way and both wearing life jackets when we arrived on scene."
