A MAN who died in a crash involving a car and a lorry near Magor brewery has been named by police.

Coran Bogue, 23, who was from the Newport area, died at the scene at around 5.50am on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services responded to the collision between Mr Bogue’s Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry on the A4810 Llanwern link road.

The road was closed for several hours after the incident to allow for investigations to continue.

Specialist police officers are supporting Mr Bogue’s family.

Floral tributes have been left at the scene of the incident by friends and family.

One note reads: “My heart is breaking I will always hold a special place in my heart for you.

“Goodnight sleep tight, love you always.”

Another, signed by relatives, said: “To the best cousin we could ever ask for.

“We will miss you, and always love you.”
