Chepstow amateur boxing club continues to go from strength to strength and has renewed its sponsorship deal with Cwmbran based claims group We Fight Any Claim.

The club boasts an outstanding record of achievement with its number of medals at championship level and having been a great source of athletes representing Wales at international level.

The club's success and continued prominence in the nation's boxing history is all thanks to its dedicated club founder and manager, Terry Dymock, who has devoted over thirty years to helping young people develop their abilities in the world of sport.

Terry founded the club in 1975 with the purpose of providing a retreat for people as young as nine to learn the values of recreation, sportsmanship, discipline and healthy competition.

His intentions were also set on serving his local community so that the young people of Chepstow and Monmouthshire were provided with opportunities to engage in recreational activities outside of school.

One of his concepts behind the founding of the club was that it would provide a centre where youngsters and those with a shared interest in boxing can embrace the sport they love and keep youngsters off the street by giving them an incentive to work for and excel in.

Chepstow ABC's gym is a reminder of the hard work and commitment that Terry has put into the club over the years, decorated wall-to-wall with posters, flags, vests and photographs, each one exhibiting a unique anecdote of the club's encounters, experiences and associates over the last thirty-seven years.

We Fight Any Claim spokesman, Simon Evans said: "We are very pleased that our company have sustained our relationship with this great club for a number of years and we congratulate Terry for his great accomplishments with Chepstow ABC and wish him further success in the future."
