NEWPORT woman Louise Brown has been chosen as an Olympic torch bearer in tribute to the difference she has made to stroke survivors in the community.
Louise, 38 will run on Friday 25 May in Malvern and she recently met the Queen as part of her torch bearing duties.
Louise was nominated as a torch bearer by Anna Anderson, the Stroke Association's Family and Carer Support Coordinator in Newport. Anna said:"She is a real inspiration to stroke survivors young and old - one of the community's unsung heroes!"
