The A472 westbound has been re-opened. Traffic is easing.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said one person was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital.
They received a call at 5.22pm and sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.
Gwent Police were also in attendance.
UPDATE: 6.51pm
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 5.23pm and rescued one person from one of the cars.
The Welsh Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
Fire crews from Malpas and New Inn attended and left the scene at 6.18pm.

THE A472 westbound is closed in Pontypool after a two vehicle accident.
There is queuing traffic between the A4042 (McDonalds Roundabout) and A4043 (Pontypool / Tesco Roundabout).
One of the vehicles involved in the collision has overturned.
