I HAVE just got back from walking my dog around the football pitches on Panteg playing fields.
The goal posts have been erected today for the forthcoming season. What a mess they look. The council have not even bothered to take all the old tape off and give them a lick of paint.
It seems to me to be symptomatic of this council’s attitude to the environment. Litter bins not emptied, rubbish strewn by the roadsides. God knows what the visitors must think.
Come on Torfaen council get a grip and tidy our borough up.
