TORFAEN council is appealing to residents to have their say on the authority’s future biodiversity plan.
Torfaen Biodiversity Partnership produced its first ten year Local Biodiversity Action Plan in 2003 with the key aim to ‘protect and enhance biodiversity in Torfaen for current and future generations’.
A new plan for 2013-2023 updates the existing plan and reflects emerging policy developments, constraints and opportunities while preserving the central theme of biodiversity conservation and enhancement at the heart of the plan.
