AFTER starting to write her first book more than ten years ago, Cwmbran’s Emma Edwards is now enjoying success as an author, including being featured in an American best-sellers list.
Mrs Edwards, 38, first started to write her books, based on the stories of human vampires, around ten years ago but due to a busy lifestyle never got round to finishing them.
But now after completing the books and with some encouragement from her husband Rich to get the stories published, Mrs Edwards is now the author of a trilogy: ‘Sanguinary’, ‘Imbrued’ and ‘Ensanguined’.
Her books tell the tale of humans who have the need to drink blood, and are set in Cardiff where Mrs Edwards used to work. Mrs Edwards, mum to Jordan, 13, and Jasmine, 11, said: “I didn’t have much confidence at first but I’ve had some really good feedback. It’s been surprising.” The books are available on Amazon and on the Kindle.
