A YOUNG Pontypool RFC fan has made an extra special effort to support her local club by donating £100 to Pontypool RFC.
Caitlyn Wallace, aged 9, raised the funds by creating a range of loom bracelets based on Pooler’s famous red, white and black colours.
Pontypool RFC chief executive officer, Ben Jeffreys, said: “We are very grateful for the time and effort taken by Caitlyn to support her local rugby club. The bracelets look great and have been very popular with our players and supporters.
“It is a great demonstration of the community spirit we are looking to build at the club and it is great to see that some younger supporters are starting to take a real interest in the club again.”
