A FAMILY raising money to pay for the training of a service dog which has transformed the life of their autistic son has set up an online fundraising page.
The family of ten-year-old Nathan Rowling, of Prospect Road,Burley-in-Wharfedale, need to find £4,060 for the advanced training of service dog, Fudge.
The young golden retriever, found for Nathan by Ireland-based Service Dogs Europe, is already said to have helped Nathan speak to others outside his family, and given him the confidence to go out among crowds and noisy places.
However, Fudge needs professional training to help him fulfil his role as a support dog. Donations can be made online at letsgofundraise-uk.com/fundraiser_detail.php?fundid=156.
