Taxi passenger picked up in Newport ran off on Afon Terrace in Cwmbran without paying fare after smashing cab window
POLICE are appealing for information after a man smashed a taxi window and ran off without paying his cab fare in Cwmbran.
The man had been picked up in the Newport area with two women who were dropped off in Cwmbran.
He smashed a side window of the cab on Afon Terrace at around 4.10am on Sunday.
The man may have caused himself injury as a result of his actions, a Gwent Police spokesman said.
Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call 101 quoting the log number 102 31/05/15.
