A CWMBRAN man is due to appear in court tomorrow after he was charged with two robberies in Pontypool.
The 44-year-old man is accused of robberies of the Betfred betting shop on Osborne Road on Sunday, November 8, and the Talywain Post Office in Pontypool on Monday, November 9.
Today, the man was arrested and charged with robbery at both locations.
He has now been remanded to custody and will appear in Newport Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Police are still appealing for information following the robbery at Betfred betting shop on Osborne Road, Pontypool at approximately 9.20pm on Sunday, November 8.
Enquiries to locate a second suspect during the robbery are currently on-going.
