Firefighters called to put out deliberate grass fire
A PATCH of grass and bracken was deliberately set alight in Pontypool yesterday.
The fire covered 25 square metres.
Firefighters from New Inn were called to deal after the blaze, which also burned a telegraph pole near Woodside Road in Trevethin, was started at 4.41pm.
They left after the fire had been put out at 5.20pm.
