AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of former Pontypool RFC player and captain Cae-lorne 'Cae' Trayhern.
Senior coroner for Gwent David Bowen was told that a post mortem examination had been held.
Emergency services had been called to the 37-year-old's home in Cwmgelli, Blackwood, on the evening of Friday June 10 and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Bowen adjourned the inquest until inquiries into Mr Trayhern's death have been completed.
