BODY SLAMMING action is set to come to Torfaen this month when a popular wrestling road show visits the county borough.

On Thursday, October 27, the ‘Welsh Wrestling’ group will visit the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran, hosting an evening of “glitz, glamour and mayhem” as the eclectic roster takes to the stage.

The well-established group regularly perform across Wales and have visited Gwent on several occasions with their colourful troupe.

From Kid Cymru, Little Legs and Wild Boar to the showmanship of Mr Irresistible, Bison Brody and Big Dog, guests can expect a night of high flying antics, trash talk and impressive athleticism.

The group are also affiliated with the Union of European Wrestling Alliances, Joint Promotions Group and the current three-time Welsh Heavyweight Champion is Stevie Starr.

The shows mantra is to showcase “family-orientated wrestling”, providing fans with an “exciting, fun-filled evening of sports entertainment each and every time”.

The family-friendly show is priced at £12 per adult and £9 per child and doors open at 7.30pm.

If you fail to catch the show in Cwmbran, the group will also be performing several other dates this ranging from from Barry to New Tredegar.
