PUPILS from a Torfaen school visited the South Wales Argus today to see how a newsroom works.
Cwmffrwdoer Primary School is one of a group of Torfaen schools who are learning how to put a newspaper together.
Emilie Buckwell, 11, said it was interesting to see the all the old pictures from the Argus. "I really liked the picture of the creature from Doctor Who in a cafe!"
Alice Roberts, 10, said they had been writing stories for their newspaper project, especially, one unfortunate teacher who slipped on a chip and they found was allergic to passion fruit!
The newspaper, called The Buzz, has been created in a joint project involving pupils from Abersychan Comprehensive School, Blaenavon VC Heritage School, Cwmffrwdoer Primary School, Garnteg Primary School and Victoria Primary School.
