A DECISION to sell a former Torfaen school site will be made today at a council cabinet meeting.
Torfaen County Borough Council will be asked to approve a £635,000 offer for the Kemys Fawr Infant School site subject to the outcome of site investigations and the grant of planning permission.
The land has been a second site for Ysgol Panteg Primary School since 2014 until its move to Station Road Griffithstown, with the council subsequently offering the land for sale.
A report, to be presented to cabinet today at 10.30am, recommends that the council forward the sale, including formalising the council’s disposal of the site.
