Gwent County Division Two leaders Cwmffrwdoer Sports Club followed up last Tuesdays impressive 4-2 away win at Spencer Boys Club Newport, with another superb display when they crushed Lucas Cwmbran 10-1 at home on Saturday.

The Doer started the game at a pace which Lucas found difficult to compete with and found themselves 5-0 down at halftime. With the strike force of Dwain Hunt, skipper Matthew Jackson, wingers Kristian Howells and Jason Fairclough relentless in attack, Lucas found it very difficult to put any momentum together, and for the first 45 minutes vastly experienced keeper Sam Morris who this season has returned to his beloved Doer was a mere spectator.

Unfortunately for Lucas the second half was no easier for them as the Doer coasted to a 10-0 lead with 20 minutes remaining, at this time Ben Taylor replaced Fairclough, Kyle Tovey replaced Mikey Passmore, and 16year old Mikey Richards came on for Hunt. With the whistle for time in the referees mouth Lucas grabbed a deserved consolation goal for their tireless effort all afternoon. Goalscorers on the day for the day was Hunt with seven, Jackson with two and Kristian Howells with one. This Tuesday the Doer entertain Newport based Cromwell ko 6.30pm which will pose a very stiff test for them.
