With the ladies only managing to have played once since the beginning of December, the club did everything possible to get them a game.

The home team settled quickly enjoying the perfect surface to play their passing football on, with Cascade only starting with 10 players it looked like it was going to be a difficult afternoon.

Straight away a successful cross from Challenger found the familiar figure of Beddows in the box who headed the ball past the keeper, in quick succession straight from the restart Cwmbran won the ball back and Bradley grabbed herself a simple header from an error by the keeper.

The game began to settle down and Cwmbran kept the ball waiting patiently for an opening to extend their lead. It was Christmas signing Mochan who was making her debut who grabbed the third and forth goal for the home team with her pace and excellent finishing beating the defence and keeper.

Cascade were unfortunate to find themselves pinned in their own half with little opportunity to get out and attack the Celtic defence, attack after attack was forcing the visiting defenders to work tirelessly to keep the home team at bay and make them work hard for goals.

However Beddows managed to find a way through and double her tally within the first half, not to be out done newcomer Mochan grabbed herself a debut half hat-trick within the first 45.

The second half saw youngster Murphy join in on the action and provide another attacking threat with pace, even 6-0 down Cascade fought on and continued to work for each other and their coach.

The second half started as the first half finished with Mochan grabbing herself another goal before defender Phipps got herself one from a great strike through the crowd of players.

Not long after, it was the same two players who scored again with Mochan grabbing her fifth of the day and Phipps her second. Cascade welcomed the introduction of their eleventh player who was late to the game to help keep out a strong Cwmbran team. The extra player didn't have any effect on Cwmbran who still found plenty of room to attack at the Cascade goal and force a rather unfortunate OG from the defender.

Cwmbran eventually made a corner pay off as they so often do with Boyd getting into the right place at the right time to nod the ball home.

With the opposition really beginning to tire and run out of ideas to prevent Cwmbran extending their lead the home team unleashed another youngster in Herdman to run at the defence and make things even harder for those with already very tired legs. Almost straight away a strong run from her down the wing enabled her to get a shot away and beat the keeper at the front post. Murphy grabbed herself two late goals along with Mochan who added two more to her tally taking her debut total to seven. The last goal of the day came from the penalty spot when Randall was fouled in the area leaving Davies to slot the ball home from the spot and finish the game off 18-0.
