Talywain 20 Pill Harriers 20
TALYWAIN RFC took part in a fantastic game against Pill on the weekend.
Both teams and referee Neil Williams played their part in an entertaining end to end match-up.
Pill got off to a flying start scoring from a well organised driving maul, and then took advantage after missed opportunities from the home side to lead by 20 to 5.
Talywain had to dig deep and showed some great character to rescue the game though.
The home side clawed back, levelling the score to notch up two league points.
It was a gritty second half performance by Talywain, who will maybe feel they should of taken all four points on offer.
A brace of tries from Jamie Parry, a solo from Kirk Needs and five points from the boot of Tom Haynes gave Talywain their points.
On Saturday Talywain will travel to Abertyswwg.
