TORFAEN Dragons kickboxers Stacey Davey, 17, and Dan Sinderby, 19, travelled to Windsor for the first heat of the CIMAC Superleague.

First up was Stacey, who represented Torfaen Dragons Team Wales in the ladies 65kg and 65kg-plus categories. The current British and Welsh champion, from Blaenavon, aced both weight classes, securing first place in both divisions and putting her in pole position in her quest to become CIMAC Superleague grand champion 2017.

Dan Sinderby finished with a well-deserved bronze in a section that was graced by some of the best adult fighters in the UK.

Torfaen Dragons chief coach Gary Davey said: "I am really proud of these two athletes. Once again they prove that the hours of hard work pays off.

"The superleague is packed full of talent and is a place were the champions of champions go to prove who is the best in the UK.

"Great performances from Stacey and Dan."
