THE Race under 14s would like to say a huge thank you to the sponsors who kindly supported the team in purchasing their new kit.
Both Richard Lewis, of West End Building Civil Engineering Contractors, and Kevin Williams, of Cut ’n’ Clean Garden and Window Cleaning Services, kindly contributed to the kit and have shown a clear commitment to supporting grassroots football at The Race.
Last season the lads were proud to be crowned league runners-up with Pierce Archer named as player of the year. Most improved player was Sam Polter-Reed, Ethan Preston-Watkins was named as Players’ Player and Harry Chesse and Kyle Richards received most ‘man of the match’ awards.
All involved hope the team, which is led by Captain Morgan Pugh, continues to enjoy football and wish the lads and coaches the best of luck for this season.
