DUE to injuries, Llanyrafon took a squad of only 11 players when they travelled the hour-long trip down to the bitterly cold Porthcawl coast. It took near on 20 minutes before the deadlock was broken, with a fine goal from Eleri Williams.

This was followed quickly by another three goals – one of Delyth Williams followed by another from Eleri and a cracking header of Chloe Jones. Halftime 0-4.

The second half continued with the same constant pressure of Kirsty Ridler on the wing and gave Llanyrafon an own goal.

Porthcawl battled on and had a good goal from their winger going on a solo run.

In the last ten minutes there was another two goals, one from Eleri and another great header from Delyth Williams.

Girl of thematch was Chloe Jones. She stood strong in defence with nothing passing her.

This weekend Llanyrafon have their biggest game in their history, playing Cardiff City in the FAW Semi Final Cup at Aberbargoed Buds on Sunday at 2pm.
