This live event has finished
- Glamorgan take on Nottinghamshire at Lord's in the final of the YB40. Updates from the home of cricket.
It's all over - 87-run victory. Hogan is bowled and Glamorgan are all out for 157. Well done Notts, a well deserved win. Unlucky Glam, great YB40 campaign.
Wagg's gone. Glamorgan 157-9.
After Salter is trapped leg before by Shahzad, Cosker is caught off Broad. 155-8 and there is to be no dream Lord's win for Glamorgan.
Game over? Shahzad celebrates wildly as Wright (14) chips him to Lumb.
Crowd getting more rowdy as the powerplay is taken.
It's getting away from Glamorgan. Ten overs left, 144-5 with 101 needed for victory. RRR of 10.1 but only five wickets left.
Three for four in nine deliveries for Patel, who traps Goodwin leg before.
Big Samit is walking the walk. He does for Allenby in the same way as he did for Cooke. The all-rounder goes for 34, 115-4 and Glamorgan are running out of batsmen.
Samit Patel produces a ripper to get rid of Cooke for 46. Played a bit around it to end a good knock. 108-3 after 19.5, just as Glamorgan were starting to look good. In comes Goodwin.
Glam bring up their 100 in the 19th over. Up for grabs.
Glamorgan going along nicely at the moment. 91-2 off 17 overs. Samit Patel set to come on for Notts. D/L par score is 93 as a guide.
Allenby (10) and Cooke (25) trying to rebuild. 66-2 after 13 overs. Run rate 5.1, req rate 6.6.
Rees bowled for 29 by a Shahzad cracker. 42-2. Terrific delivery.
Rees playing some lovely shots to move to 28. Glamorgan 40-1 off 8 overs.
Glam 19-1 off five after a magnificent pull by Rees off Broad.
Early trouble for Glamorgan as captain Wallace goes for 2, cutting to point off Harry Gurney.
My prediction is that Glamorgan will knock these off with 4 overs to spare— Mike Powell (@powelly299) September 21, 2013
Broady is bowled off the final delivery but Notts post a pretty good 244-8.
Good response by Wagg, final three balls go for just one and he bowls Mullaney (21) with his last delivery. 237-7. Stuart Broad joins Swann.
This is getting a bit out of hand unfortunately. Notts up to 236-6 with nine balls left. Fear that this is going to be a winning score but would love to be proved wrong.
Big over for Notts with 16 off Hogan, they move on to 230-6 with two left.
Three overs left. Notts 215-6. If Glam keep them under 240 then they've given themselves a real shot at this.
Now dangerman Read goes, caught in the deep by Chris Cooke off Hogan for a super 53. Notts 195-6. Glam will be pretty pleased with this.
Next ball sees Hussey go after a mix-up going for a quick single. 42 off 46 for the Aussie. He put on 99 off 93 with Read. Graeme Swann comes to the middle...
And the Notts captain slams a six off Wagg to bring up his 50. Great knock.
Batting power play being taken. Six overs left, Notts 183-4. Read has been immmpressive, 47* off 49 balls.
18 off the Salter over. Notts putting the foot down. Read (31) and Hussey (38) have broken the record for a fifth-wicket partnership in a 40-over Lord's final.
Ten overs left. Notts 145-4, Salter being brought back on.
Hussey and Read settle Notts down with a 50-run partnership. 140-4 after 28.2, Read 28*, Hussey 22*.
I will say it again if @si610 had not got so many injuries he will have been one of England's greatest bowlers....— Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) September 21, 2013
Simon Jones hit for four with final ball in first-class cricket. Magnificent spell, mind. Two wickets for 36 off his eight. On that evidence he'll still be a fine, fine t20 bowler.
100 up for Notts after 20.2
Jones and Salter have been superb. Salter's figures so far 6-1-23-2, Jones 6.3-0-30-2.
Rees drops Hussey off Salter and the Aussie smashes the next ball for four. Notts 98-4 at the halfway stage.
Salter and Jones putting the squeeze on. Simon Jones has dangerman James Taylor caught behind for 22. Notts 90-4.
Another one goes. Sloppy shot by Patel, who is caught at mid-off by Rees for 10 off Salter, who has two wickets for 15 off 4.1. Notts 80-3 and it's finely balanced.
Notts move on to 74-2 off 15 overs, Taylor 10* and Patel 7*.
Another one. Hales tries to be too ambitious against Simon Jones and is caught at deep cover by Goodwin for 18. 58-2 off 10.4. Samit Patel's in...
Breakthrough. Lumb goes, caught and bowled Salter for 28. Notts 52-1 after 9.2.
Notts really put the foot down. 15 over the final powerplay over takes them to 47-0 off eight.
Floodlights on at Lord's and Notts enjoy a good over. Four leg byes and them Lumb slaps Allenby to the boundary. 22-0 off six.
Miserly start by Glamorgan. No breakthrough yet but Notts 13-0 after five overs.
Hogan starts with a wide. Glam need early wickets in favourable conditions against a strong Notts battling line-up.
Great noise as the teams head out to the middle. Lord's far from full but a good atmosphere building in a great setting.
Great to see Newport U13s girls - the Lady Taverners t20 champions - parading their trophy around the pitch.
Glamorgan: Rees, Wallace, Cooke, Allenby, Goodwin, Wright, Wagg, Salter, Cosker, Hogan, Jones.
Same XI that beat Hampshire in the semi-final.
England stars Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann line up for the Outlaws.
Notts team: Hales, Lumb, Taylor, Patel, Hussey, Read, Mullaney, Broad, Swann, Shahzad, Gurney.
Glamorgan win the toss and bowl... good start!
Captains Mark Wallace and Chris Read waiting in the middle for the toss. Cloudy day at Lord's, wonderful venue.
