Tap and go from Leach it's coming right but DROPPED!
Barker kicks Guy under pressure int he 22. He's pinbged for holding on.
Bagshaw chip and chase and they're in Pooler territory.
RGC player looked welll off his feet but he's allowed to play it.
Now Organ. It's one out stuff
Thorley carries into the 22
Pooler have won another penalty this one's on half way so Gullis puts it to tocuh on the RGC 22
This is now pushing 2 hours. What on earth is going on???
Announcer reminds crowd to respect kicker
Unsavoury shouts as he struck it. poor from what's been a decent crowd.
He's missed it right. Just.
Luke Dyckhoff smashed the ruck to pieces. Was over the ball and RGC plays dive off their feet to try and get rid of him. Pooler players celebrate. Mills lining shot.
26-20 Pooler. I have no idea why we're still playing or how long is left. referee appears to be in an alterior time zone !
It's a pen to RGC and there's confusion. RGC try to tap and go but they've gone for the posts. Easy enough kick. Can't see a thing though as in a box and all the RGC fans are stood up in front of it. Barker's kicked it anyway apparently.
RGC gone from their own line. What a break from harri Evans again. He rolled to Bagshaw who looked in. Phenomenal tackle by Quick.
Quick makes a great break. He popped to his mate Thorley who looked through but as he tried to pop to Mills it goes forward ten yards out. A kick might have been the option. Guy was clear outside Mills.
James intercepts looked like he was going to the length but he's caught by Bagshaw and James is now sin binned for holding on. Very harsh. It's in the middle of the RGC half !
Guy clears but only to the edge of 22. RGC set to come again.
Parry's up and set tp throw in
Stoppage again. Looks like Parry on one knee on the far side. Must be nearly there. Surprised we're still going.
The kick isn't good though and they're under pressure again. RGC very lively out wide. Quick's done very well on the far side to man handle Blackwell into touch.
Bopnus point unlikely but surely they're going to see this out. Crowd howling for not straight but not given.
But the line-out isn't straight. Scrum Pooler.
Baxter's driven them up the edge of the 22.
inexplicably Baxter kicks it away and Gullis pens them back. But Pooler give a cheap pen away as they're all off their feet.
RGC flicking it around like France. Pooler need to stay calm and keep their shape.
Gullis kicks to the edge of the 22 and Pooler are driving the line out on the far side.
Pen Pooler ! Massive moment. Second yellow for slowing the ball down and Kelvin Davies is.
TO is on for Jordan Williams too.
I tell a lie Quick is on the wing. Steve Taylor is off. Lang at 13.
Gullis clears into the RGC half
And Aaron Quick for Josh Guy
Clayton Gullis on for Hurley
Harri Evans shredding Pooler again. His 40 yard break has them scrambling. Steve Taylor does well to get back and RGC are miles offside at the ruck. Players coming in from everywhere int heir excitement.
Clock has stopped but we reckon in here there's about 10 to go.
New man Barker converts. 26-17
From the scrum Mills is charged down. One ruck and straight under the posts is the massive Thabiso Mnongozulu. Martin Madden esque. No stopping him from there.
Aron Williams on Bryn Williams for RGC
Official crowd given as 950. Very impressive.
It looked on left but they've kocked it on and Pooler can grab their breath.
There still attacking though. Good spell for the hosts. Blackwell jinking away on this near side having found himself out right.
Again box kick much too deep from Guy and RGC attack from edge of their own 22. Harri Evans made a lovely break, brushed off some poor tackles too before popping to his left but centre Mike Jones has put it down five yards out with the line at his mercy.
That's the danger RGC possess. Box kick was loose from Guy and they spun it out to the left wing. Blackwell looked to have a bit of space but Chris Lang did well to track him and put him in touch.
Kelvin Davies back from the bin for RGC
But the line-out is spilt. Ben Parry recovers and RGC are penalised for being off their feet at the ruck.
Mills clears to the 10 metre line.
Steve Taylor carries up to halfway but he's isolated and RGC win a penalty which they put to touch between the 10metre and 22 on the main stand side in front of us.
Sorry lost the wifi briefly. Hall's on for RGC sorry. Notmissed much. Bit of kick tennis.
Mike Hall on in the front row
New man Barker now chips to touch with the pen. RGC on the ten metre line.
Looks like he got wrapped on the ankle by Leach's follow through
Game stopped because Trevor James is down after that charge down in a lot of pain.
Lewis Barker on at fly half for RGC
Trevor James charges down a ponderous box from Leach but Pooler are then pinged for being offside.
Penalty against Steve Taylor for hands in ruck. Looked harsh as ruck had broken up.
Leach tapped and went but ref pulls them back. RGC are furious and Joe Simpson's back chat sees the pen reversed. Silly because Pooler have cleared.
Dan Walker is back
Pooler one try away from four bonus points in their opening five games
Mills misses for the first time today. 26-10 Pontypool.
Right winger Huw Grundy so busy scrapping on the floor with Trevor James that there's a huge gap off the ruck on the left hand side. Guy rolled to Dyckhoff who held Bagshaw and popped in Hurley to strike.
No.8 Kelvin Davies is the fall guy for both sides high penalty count at the ruck as he's binned. A Pooler fan screams out "take advantage now Pooler"
Dan Walker's off. He's bleeding from his right eye area. Josh Powell is on.
Need to play at this intensity as they did in first 20 of first half. Musn't go off it now. They've ground out a good lead.
11 point lead already looks like a lot.
Millsy nails it and it's 21-10
It's a forward pass on the right but referee brings it back for a Penalty inside the 22 left of the posts. Mills lining up anpother shot.
Pooler putting pressure on at every line out. Parry charges a clearance down and they're attacking.
Ball came back left on second phase. trevor James powered for the corner but is bundled out five yards out.
Ben Parry will throw in 7 yards out now.
Jeers from the crowd as the RGC touch judge reappears five minutes late !
Bagshaw drops Guy's high ball and Pooler are on the attack.
Here they come now. Kicking left to right int his second half.
Pooler still yet to return.
RGC coming back out.
gareth jenkins @pooler5 3m
Great first half #pooler, would be a very good result if we can carry this on for next 40 mins!!
Straight through. 10- 18 Pooler at the break.
Mills lining it up. Must be half time after this. He's from a similar distance to last time.
Bagshaw recovers but Sparks hunts him down and wins a penalty for holding on
First effort repelled so they'rer coming left. Spilt in midfield though and Poooler are haring downt he other end.
Pooler clear but have managed ot cough up another ruck penalkty which has been put back to touch in the conrer. Rgc roling a maiul towards the line
A couple of phases, but ging nowhere so Harri Evans chipsto the corner. Defensive line out for Pontypool.
There's a stoppage though. RGC man down.
Woorying for Pooler they're still getting stuffed in the scrum. That one is blown apart. Very scruffy ruck and Parry has ended up coming in from the side.
RGC kick pen to touch. Last attack of the half probably. They're on the 22 in front of the main stand.
Good calm stuff from Sam Mills. Covered the deep kick and fed inside to Hurley who chase his onw up and under. Tom Blackwell knocks on anbd Pooler have a scrum just inside RGC half
But good scramble defence by Pooler has rescued them and won a penalty for holding on.
Mills clears to the ten metre.
Full back Afon Bagshaw has now drilled a penalty a long way long.
It's not mattered as they have another penalty and Leach ahs burst right to the Poole rline with a lovely tap and go.
He lands it. 15-10 to Pooler
You feel they need to get Hurley going from deep to try and deter it.
Anyway from a lineout Taylor has thumped into midfield and RGC are penalised for going off their feet at the ruck.
Mills is lining up a shot from between 22 and 10 metre straight in front .
RGC kick chase has been very good. They were all over Sparks as he takes the bomb. really hastling Pooler.
That bomb been a clear tactic since they went 12-0 down and Pooler npt responded that well too it.
Easy 3 points. 10-12 Game on.
Been a kind of muddling scruffy couple of minutes but RGC are pressing just outside the 22. And it's resulted in a penalty for a high tackle against Mills that looked a touch harsh. Carlton-Jone has a shot straight in front and Pooler have let them back in.
Pontypool had a penalty. Sparks tapped and went but is penalised for holding on.
Converted by Carlton-Jones 12-7
And that's sparked chaos. Pooler give away a penalty, Leach taps and goes then chips ahead. Matt Thomas couldn't gather. from the scramble Hurley did but he's penalised for clearly holding and referee Martyn Lewis goes under the posts for a penalty try.
And James has kicked it into touch. Why I don't know
Parry goes to the tail again and hits Sparks but they're turned over at the ruck and Grundy clears to touch.
Bit of kicking back and forth has led to a Pooler pen for off their feet at a ruck. Mills kicks to the left corner. Attacking line-out about 10 meters out
And now from a 22 drop out, after Mills cleared, Carlton-Jones shanks his kick straight to dan Walker who's on the attack.
Prop Thabiso Mnongozulu is a monster. Takes Parry and Dyckhoff to bring him down.
From the next ruck Pooler have coughed up a penalty.
But Rhodri Carlton-Jones his kicked it touch in goal and it's a let off. still 12-0.
RGC in possesion then on the ten metre line.
Big bomb from Grundy is dropped under pressure by Chris Lang. It's got the home crowd going. They're drumming their feet.
First time the hosts have had a bit of field position but Leach has knocked on.
It's a scrum to Pooler just outside their own 22.
Mills misses right htough 12-0 Pooler in charge
It comes down but easy peasy. Pooler left through the hands, big opverlap as all RGC players sucked in and James is in for his second.
Parry throws to Sparks at the back. they're trying to role it.
Great tackle from Dychoff as scrum half Josh Leach made a break. Forced him into touch. Means Pooler are right on the front foot down in the right hand corner.
Converted by Sam Mills 7-0 Pooler great start.
They're in ! came left through the hands. Parry through the miss pass to Ben Sparks he burst through the gap well and popped left to try machine Trevor James for another score.
Big turnover though ! Pooler attacking 5 out
Sloppily though they're in touch off secodn pahse. defensive line out RGC
First line out for Pooler ], Just putside RGC 22 on this near side.
Steve Taylor piles into midfield off tge back of it.
Pooler are on the attack again though on the 22. Matt Thomas on the cahrge but they've been turned over. Rgc break into their half but they're turned over too. Hurley hacks forward and it's a ruck in the RGC 22. Harem scarem stuff.
First scrum and Pooler have been annilihated.
Was a decent position too, 10 yards out from the RGC line. That's an area Pooler have targeted to do well in today. A big worry.
Pontypool left to right in the first half. Weather's great so no excuses, hope we'll see some rugby.
Slightly sinisterly RGC have come out to the Arctic Monkeys Do I Wanna Know
We're in the main stand looking out towards the wind turbines, a decent punt to touch away.
Man on the tannoy at RGC now playing Max Boyce's ode to the Pontypool Front Row - Up and Under
Here's a quick shot of the development centre here at RGC.

Sorry about the delay.
Just at Parc Eirias now.
Hell of a set up.
MR: "if they generate a North Wales region I think it will be atthe expense of one in the south."
MR: "I've followed Pooler since 1956. I think this North Wales region is a big waste of money by the WRU. It's not a big rugby area and it's never worked out. I think it's money ill sepnt and money that could be better spent on grass roots elsewhere rather than spending it on something that will never succeed.
"It's a fabricated club."
PT: "That's been our strength I think this season. they're big boys those wingers."
DG: "We need that high intensity. "
MR: " We can't get bogged down."
Mike Regan: " I think if our front five can get us quick ball, get it away from the set piece and get it to the wings we can hurt them.
"That's where our strengths our."
PT: "It's really important they dominate up front ."
WB: Have they got the pack to do it?
PT: "Yes I think they have. They've Luke (Dyckhoff) into the second row today so they look strong up front."
Matt Thomas (not the player !): "I'd like a good performance. It's important we defend well today. RGC have got some dangerous backs. "
DG:" We've conceded most point in the league i think ! we can't do that today."
PT:" Be a long journey home if we lose !"
Will Bain: How do you think it will go today?
Peter Thomas: " Looking for a good performance mainly. I'm undecided on how the game will go. I think this could make our season. If we win then it will stand us in good stead."
Peter: "we've had a nice breakfast and are setting the worlds to rights."
Peter Thomas: "We've probably been in Wetherspoons since 9.15."
In the Wetherspoons in Colwyn Bay we've Dave Gullis, Mike Regan, Matt Thomas and Pete Thomas are here.
DG: "I was ont he 10 to six train from Pontypool! Up and at them Will up and at them !"
