Meyer wants more from his 'Boks

SOUTH Africa boss Heyneke Meyer says his Springboks will have to deal with a fired-up Wales side giving it one last blast before their summer rest on Saturday, writes Chris Kirwan.
The 'Boks eased to a 38-16 win in the first Test in Durban and are overwhelming 1/14 favourites to repeat the trick in Nelspruit.
Head coach Meyer expects a reaction from Warren Gatland's side but has also stressed that there is plenty of room for improvement in their own game.
"They've had another week together and will be keen to lift their game but at the same time we were not happy with certain aspects of our game and we've worked hard to rectify that," he said.
"This is their last match of the season, so we're expecting them to come out firing. But we also want to make a step up and ensure we keep on improving as the season progresses."
Legendary lock Victor Matfield will overtake John Smit as South Africa's most-capped player when he leads the Springboks out to make his 112th Test appearance.
Meyer makes to changes to his pack with Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira returning at loosehead prop and Flip van der Merwe coming in for lock Bakkies Botha.
"I've always preferred to stick with a winning combination and the changes to the team were both part of our planning," said the coach.
"The backline really performed well last weekend and we would like to give them another opportunity to play together, as there were a number of new combinations.
"The same applies upfront. Bakkies is fit for selection but we decided to manage his workload this week and I know Flip, who has been outstanding in the last two seasons, will slot back in easily.
"The same goes for 'Beast', who upped the tempo with his work rate last weekend."
