NEWPORT Gwent Dragons will host Cardiff Blues at Rodney Parade on New Year’s Day after travelling to the capital on Boxing Day.

The region have been given dates for 11 of the first 13 rounds of the Guinness Pro12 and they will start against Connacht in Galway on Saturday, September 6.

That is the only game that will not be televised with the Dragons making their Sky Sports debut against Glasgow in the afternoon of Saturday, September 20.

Their first home game is against the Ospreys on September 12 – their only home Friday fixture.

A date for the Dragons’ encounter with Ulster in Belfast – which clashes with their LV= Cup opener against Exeter – is yet to be confirmed and the same applies for their home fixture with Munster in November.

So does this mean there's no double header at the Millennium Stadium next season?

Here's the full fixture list. I'm guessing round 20 could be the double header, as we've got the Scarlets at home and the Blues have the Ospreys at home. And it's at the end of April, which is the same time as it was the last time

Yes that is the game. The Judgement Day game is happening and was agreed for five years (I believe), so we have Scarlets "home" this season, then Ospreys "home" the following year and finish on Scarlets "home" the year after.
