THE Friends of Newport Rugby Trust will be holding their annual beer festival at Rodney Parade on September 19 and 20.
The event will run between 3pm and 11pm on the Friday, coinciding with the Black and Ambers’ Principality Premiership clash with champions Pontypridd, and between 11am and 11pm when the Dragons host Glasgow in the Guinness Pro12 the following day.
There will be around 20 real ales and eight ciders to sample as well as live music before and after both games.
All profits raised by FoNR will go towards supporting rugby at Rodney Parade and helping children’s rugby in the Newport area.
Entry to the beer festival, which is in its fourth year, is free.
