EACH week Pontypool RFC captain Ben Parry takes you exclusively inside the historic Pooler dressing room.

Here he reflects on a tough month at the club, and looks ahead to the season run-in, with the recent international break used to go back to the drawing board.

"It's been a tough month at the club for a involved after two recent losses to Swansea and Tata Steel.

"Previous to these games, things where going well for us with some good performances and some good wins. Having a few weeks off due to the Six Nations it was a chance to get back to the drawing board and try to put the last few games behind us.

"A lot of teams use this time to have a break but as a group we knew we had to get these training sessions in and work hard.

"The last two weeks we have been working hard on our fitness, doing a lot of work on our defence and breakdown area.

"There are only five games left and we really want to end the season on a high.

"We welcome Bridgend Athletic to the park Saturday.

"We've done all the hard work now we just need to turn up with the right mindset and put in a good performance.

"The support has been fantastic and the supporters have stuck by us win, lose or draw. I'm sure that the last five games will be no different and we look forward to seeing you all Saturday."
