The glass dome at McArthur Glen will be lit with red lasers to mark the launch of Livingston Laughs Louder. The event, which runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, includes music, fireworks and a still-to-beannounced special guest.

The evening is the beginning of a month-long joint fundraising campaign in aid of Comic Relief between Almondvale and McArthur Glen shopping centres.

Best of British Former EastEnder Paul Nicholls joins the ranks of Vinnie Jones, Nick Moran and Goldie by becoming the face of Burton's Best of British campaign. Paul, pictured, sports a number of the store's new spring looks, including the Badlands and Sports Club Scallys ranges. Badlands features casualwear in sand, slate and khaki and includes key pieces such as canvas trousers and denim dungarees. For a smarter look, Sports Club Scallys takes inspiration from tennis and croquet with classic polo necks and micro-check trousers.
